Cleva legal
Terms of Use
Effective September 7, 2026
These Terms explain the rules for using Cleva, a mobile app that helps you review storage and organize photos, videos, contacts, and calendars. By installing or using Cleva, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. What Cleva does
Cleva can surface media that may be duplicated, similar, large, or no longer useful; suggest duplicate contact entries; help review calendar items; and display storage information. Features vary by app version, device model, operating system, country, and subscription plan.
2. Your content stays yours
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, contacts, calendar entries, and other content you choose to review. Cleva provides suggestions and controls; it does not decide which memories, files, people, or events matter to you.
3. Review before you clean
Cleaner results are suggestions, not guarantees. A duplicate group, similarity score, or storage estimate can be incomplete or inaccurate because of device data, permissions, or operating-system limits. Please review every selected item before you delete, merge, or edit it, and keep a backup of anything important.
4. Permissions and responsible use
Use Cleva only with devices, accounts, and content you own or are allowed to manage. You are responsible for granting permissions, reviewing cleanup choices, and keeping your device and account credentials secure. You may not use Cleva to access or organize another person’s private content without permission.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Some features may be offered through a free trial, subscription, or one-time purchase. Before you confirm a purchase, the marketplace will show the price, billing period, and applicable trial terms. Recurring subscriptions continue until you cancel them in the subscription settings of the marketplace account that processed the purchase.
Removing the app from your device does not cancel a subscription. Payments, purchase restoration, and eligible refund requests are handled under the marketplace’s own rules.
6. Updates and availability
We may update Cleva to add, change, or remove features, including when an operating-system update affects how a permission or cleanup tool works. We aim to keep the app available, but do not promise that every feature will work continuously on every device or software version.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse Cleva, interfere with the app or its services, attempt to bypass access controls, reverse engineer the app except where law permits it, redistribute the app without authorization, or use it in violation of applicable law.
8. Third-party platforms
Cleva works alongside services and systems operated by others, including your device manufacturer, app marketplace, and cloud backup provider. Their availability and policies are outside our control. You should review their terms and settings before using connected features or relying on a backup.
9. Warranty and liability
Cleva is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the app will identify every unwanted item, prevent every data loss, or meet every personal need. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Changes and contact
We may revise these Terms when Cleva changes or when requirements evolve. The latest version will appear on this page with an updated effective date. For questions about the app, contact us through the Cleva support form.
